Digital Headend Support Technician

This position is responsible for the design, deployment and commissioning of Digital MPEG2/4 headends to our customers along with the daily technical support to our customers and sales department. We are providing our customers’ with Turn Key digital headend solutions that include Encoders/Decoders/Muxes, Conditional Access systems, Satellite systems, VOD and IPTV solutions. Headends require IP Networking, Digital splicing and I/P applications. We also are a full line equipment distributor from taps and passives to fiber optic distribution systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years CABLE TELEVISION system experience.
• Digital headend solution experience.
• Knowledge of I/P systems and applications.
• BSEE degree or equivalent SCTE certifications.

This position is based in our Horsham PA facility and will require 20% to 30% travel.
