OPT-HDMI2 HDMI Fiber Optic Cable
The OPT-HDMI2-xxx is an extremely powerful AOC (Active Optical Cable) used for uncompressed long distance extension of HDMI 2.0 (18 Gbps bandwidth) over hybrid fiber cable. Remove the limitations of copper, which can only extend uncompressed 4K60 a few meters, however, the OPT-HDMI2-xxx uses optical fibers to extend resolutions up to 3840×2160@60 Hz long distances up to 328 feet/100 meters. With its plug & play design simply connect the side labeled source directly to the HDMI connectionon of the source and the side labled display to the remote monitor. OPT series AOC’s are superior to other cables in its physical form-factors and performance. The cable is thin (0.15inches), light (0.4lbs/33á¼€) and strong (500N pulling and crush load strength). Additionally, the cable jacket options cover all US and EU flame-retardant requirements with low smoke halogen-free and CMP-OF Plenum cable jacketing available.
